Sun and Moon: Prologue
A/n: You have been training Pokémon for a while now so your not a beginner. Look to the side of the blog to see glossary. After first episode. Also, the reader is home sick and is moving to Alola.

Y/N (Your) POV:
I mumbled to myself as I stepped out the plane with my family, grabbing my bags with me.
Life has been pretty annoying these past few days, ESPECIALLY the fact that we was moving away from B/R. B/R was my region, my home. But now we just suddenly move to Alola!
My parents found a great job there and accepted. That means that I would have to make new friends, go to a new school, and etc.
I actually hated socializing a bit. At times, I will walk up to the randomist person on the street, but then at other times my soul will jump out of my body.
Especially the fact that I would have to leave F/N and B/F. They were my best friends and now I have to leave them!
"We're here! Welcome to Alola!" My mom chanted out. The rest of my family cheering with her. I stayed quiet only letting out a small sarcastic "Yay." trying to lighten my mood.

After arriving at out new home I was the first to run into their new, EMPTY, room. I sighed, daydreaming about being in my old room.
My mom walked upstairs to my room, cracking the door open. "Can I come in?"
"Yeah." I sighed.
"So, how do you like it?" My mom asked cheerfully.
I sighed in my mind, faking a smile. "It's great."
"Good I'm glad you like it." My mom fell for my fake smile. She walked out my room.

The next day, was my first day of school in Alola. I grabbed my bag, jacket, and etc. before walking out the door.
"Have fun!" My mom called out as I grabbed my lunch and ran out the door.
I stepped out the house, feeling warmer than usual. Of course! I almost forgot I was in Alola! It was much colder in B/R, so I automatically grabbed my unneeded jacket.
I walked to the school. I liked the architecture. It looked like it was made out of straw?
I walked over on the sand path to the school entrance.

I walked into the school, with P/P by my side. It made a cheerful cry and I smiled.
I stepped acrossed the wooden floor as a kid running suddenly banged into me.
I fell to the ground as I got a glimpse of the kid. She looked about my age, blonde hair, white dress, fair skinned, and a cute little Alolan Vulpix.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" The girl apologized as she held out her hand for me to take, so I can stand. "I really didn't see you and ..." The girl quickly kept spitting out apologizes until I had to stop her. "It's ok. I'm not hurt." I say as I take her hand, helping me to stand.
Her cute little Vulpix walks up to P/P, and starts to apologize too. My partner did the same thing I did.
"And by the way, my name's Lillie, Lillie Aether!" The girl introduced as I smiled when she held out her hand for a shake. "Thanks, my name is Y/N," I start, holding out my hand. "Y/N L/N. But my good friends call my N/N! Consider yourself a friend." I say as I shake her hand friendly.
My partner holds out their paw/claw for a shake, and Vulpix gladly excepts.
"And this is Snowy!" The girl says, motioning towards the Vulpix. "Vulpix vul!" Snowy introduces. "Hi there Snowy!" I smiled at the cute Vulpix. "And, this is P/P." I say as P/P shakes it's tail making a happy cry.
"Lillie!" I hear another female call out. This time, she has green hair in pigtails, with a flower in her hair and some overalls. She stops running towards us.
"Thank goodness your ok!" She says, looking at the two of us. "Oh, who's this?" She asks looking at me. "I'm Y/N." I answer cheerfully. "I'm Mallow, nice to meet you!" She says holding up her hand, which I gladly except.
She had a Stereena running after her. She stopped as she got close to Mallow and me.
Lillie looks at Mallow, "It's fine! And this is my new friend, as you know, Y/N." She says looking at the green haired girl. She looks back to me. "I gotta go now, bye!" Lillie runs off. "Oh, and by the way, are you going to this school?" "Yes. I just got enrolled her." I pause. "Oh, and bye!"

After my encounter with Lillie and Snowy, I walk into my classroom. It was pretty big, and empty.
P/P sniffed the area and cringed. I giggle at the reaction as someone walked in.
It was a young man with a lab coat and tan skin, shorts, a hat, and, are those glasses?
If this is my teacher, the principal did an outstanding job.
"Oh, your here early." the man spoke.
"Guess I am. Is it always this empty?"
"No, the rest of the class is just outside training at the moment. Would you like to join us? I mean, you are a part of this class now right?" He responded.
"Sure! I'd love to! Whaddya say P/P?" P/P cheered as we head out to the field. It looked a little sandy, and ruff. Maybe it was dirt, but I couldn't tell.
"Class, this is Y/N. She will be joining our class. She's new, so go easy on her!" The man laughed. As I looked in front of me, I saw Lillie and Mallow from earlier!
"And by the way, I'm Professor Kukui." The man finally introduced. I nodded my head.
The rest of the classes stared at me. I felt awkward, so I stayed quiet and waved... Slightly.... Barely.
My introversion was kicking in at the worst possible time! Lillie looked at the class. I could only make out a few words like "My friend" and "met in the hall earlier". With that, the class walked over to me.
The first one to walk up to me was a young boy. He also looked my age. He had a cap, a shirt with a PokeBall like design, some shorts, and a Pikachu perched on his shoulder. "My name's Ash. Nice to meet you." The boy held out his hand as I gladly except.
Wow these kids like handshakes. Where I'm from in B/R, everyone wasn't exactly friendly.
The Pikachu held out his little paw to me and I took it as well. His paw was pretty small, so I was pretty delicate.
"And I'm Lana!" The blue haired girl said as she held out her hand, which I also except. "And I'm Sophocles!" The next one held out his hand too. His hair was a little orange, and he had a Togedemaru on his head. I take his hand as the next one walks up to me.
He was dark skinned with red streaks in his hair. I was surprised they allowed shirtless people constantly in Alola. "And I'm Kiawe." The boy says as he holds up his hand that I shake.
I was wondering if someone wouldn't give me a handshake.
"It's nice to meet you all. My name is Y/N L/N, but my fellow classmates can call my N/N." I say as I politely bow.
"Now, I know this seems sudden, but you think your ready for some training?" Kukui asks.
Usually in my old school, we would just get to math, a pinch of language arts, and studying some Pokémon moves and stats. I was the smartest kid in my school next to B/F.
"Uh, sure I guess..." I say unsure.
"Okay, so I'm going to assign each of you with a training buddy. Your training buddy will be with you for the next few days. So, listen carefully as I assign you with each other." I heard Kukui say as I dozed off.
When I zone out, I don't hear what's around me, but when I hear my name it snaps me out.
"... And Lillie and Y/N." I hear Kukui finally call out as I snap out of my trans. My partner looks a little worried, so does Kukui. "Uh, you ok?"
"Yeah. I just dozed off a little, nothing too bad!" I answer as we get into out battle positions.
Something new that I seen was a bracelet with a gem in it on Lillie's right wrist. I mean, I've seen Terastlization, Mega Evolution, and Dynamaxing, but this is new.
Before I continue, I was born in B/R, my home region, but we moved when I was six to F/R, but then moved back to B/R. Luckily, my friends never moved from there.
I also went on vacation to Paldea, so I did indeed have a Tera Orb on me.
"Take out your Pokemon!" I hear Kukui call out.
"Let's go Snowy!" Lillie calls out as Snowy chants with her, trotting into position; already out of her ball.
I look at F/P in it's PokeBall. "This shouldn't be too bad. It's just a Vulpix." I say to myself in my head, nodding at F/P.
"F/P I choose you!" I cry as I throw F/P's ball to hit the ground. F/P let's out its own battle cry as it intimidatingly stares at the Vulpix.
I can see Lillie looks a little worried at F/P.
F/P is my prized Pokemon next to P/P. It's won so many battles and contests, it's crazy! So, it's extremely talented and strong.
"And begin!" Kukui calls out.
I was the first to make a move. "F/P, use (*move F/P knows*)!" I say as F/P automatically follows my instructions.
